Investor is the one who allocates capital with the expectation of a future financial return. An investor invest his money in order to earn more.

Investor are of two types - Defensive and Aggressive Investor.Defensive investor is the one who invests in defensive stocks and assets which ensure that he will not lose any money. Defensive investor first insures the safety of his money. Moreover, a defensive investor is free from any form of stress as he has to take less risk (Note: He will be taking risk no matter what as the market are risky).

Aggressive investor, as the name suggests is aggressive in his approach. He will try to earn as much as possible. He will be earning more than the defensive investor. But the aggressive investor has to take lot more risk and he remains stressed as he has to study the market more deeply.

No, You must be thinking which type of investor is better?

The answer is both are good, it totally depends on your needs. If you need security of the money defensive is better and if you need more money aggressive is better.

There is one more way, you can follow both of the approaches simultaneously. Personally, I think that this is a better way to invest, follow both the approaches. Invest some money to ensure security and steady money and invest some in more aggressive things to earn.
